     Aaron Selbig is the news director for KBBI Homer and KDLL in Kenai. Aaron's career in journalism began at the alt-weekly "Anchorage Press" in 1999 and has taken him in many different directions over the years, including print, web and commercial and public radio. He has won many awards for his reporting in newspapers and on the airwaves, including 14 Alaska Press Club awards and a 2007 “Liberty Award” from the Alaska Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union.

     In 2008, Aaron and his family settled in Homer after living in Anchorage for 14 years. He took over as KBBI/KDLL news director in 2009 and has worked to expand the organization's news presence on the Kenai Peninsula. 
     In 2012, Aaron was elected to the Board of Directors for Public Radio News Directors, Inc. (PRNDI), an organization that provides training and other support to news directors across the country.
