In the aquarium category, there are currently 20 facilities across the U.S. nominated for the quality of their exhibits and visitor services.
This week, the SeaLife Center has been holding the eleventh position, just after the Monterey Bay Aquarium in Monterey, Calif.
No. 1 as of Wednesday was Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
Voting is open on the aquarium list through Monday, March 27. The ten best winners will be announced on March 31.
