Exhibit and Silent Auction

Celebrating KBBI AM890's 35th Anniversary

In 2014, KBBI AM890 will celebrate its 35th year of public broadcasting service to the southern Kenai Peninsula. A year-long celebration of this milestone begins with KBBI's annual meeting on January 23. As a part of the event on January 23, KBBI's Board of Directors is seeking artists to contribute original works of art for an exhibit and silent auction to benefit the station. The work might be inspired by the artist's feelings or memories specific to KBBI (such as "Where the Sound Meets the Sea").

Artists are encouraged to create work especially for this event, but work already complete is also welcome. Donated work can be two- or three-dimensional. Fine crafts are also welcome.Two-dimensional work should be ready to hang. One entry per artist will be gratefully accepted.

Dates to remember:

  • December 27, 2013 - On or before this date, please contact us if you would like to participate in the exhibit and silent auction.
  • January 10, 2013 - By this date, artists' submissions should be delivered to the KBBI station at 3913 Kachemak Way, Homer.
